My Story

I learned the scales, licks, theory and watched countless YouTube tutorials.

And technically… I was improving, but my playing felt stale, repetitive, and boring.

I realized I was losing my passion for the guitar and it began affecting my confidence as a musician.

The “traditional” practice model just wasn’t working for me and I desperately wanted a new way of playing that felt more authentic.

I didn’t want to do the same things and sound the same as everyone else.

I wanted to take everything I loved about music and create my own stuff, inspired by my favorite artists & songs.

Something had to change so, I sat down with a piece of paper and asked myself…

WHAT DO I LOVE ABOUT THE GUITAR?

I came up with 3 things…

  1. Playing with Soul

  2. CHORD MELODY

  3. SONG-BASED LEARNING

Then decided to go all in… obsessively embracing this new approach.

I focused on learning soulful chord melodies and elements from songs I loved, which allowed me to apply everything to the fretboard in a creative and artistic way.

I made more progress in DAYS than I had in months.

I tapped into deep creative flow states, playing from the inside out without getting hung up on technical details.

My sound was full, versatile, and entirely my own. 

I never ran out of creative ideas, even when playing covers. 

The guitar became a tool for my expression and the music naturally morphed into my unique sound.
